Day 54- Core Synergistics

Today was the second go-round with Core Synergistics this recovery week. As always I enjoyed myself a lot. This workout is tough but fun.

Day started out fine. I had a protein shake for breakfast. Then I left to make some sales calls. Took along some water in a cooler as well as a protein bar. Had the bar for my morning snack. Stopped back by my house for lunch and had some sliced turkey and fat-free cheese on a low-carb wheat wrap with fat free Ranch dressing (just a teaspoon). Yummy.

Went back out and made some more calls. Had some turkey jerkey for snack. Came home from work and did the core synergistics. Followed by some roasted chicken and some corn for dinner.

The workout today was a butt-kicker. The superman/banana rolls are killer. But the hardest move for me today was the Drea roll again. I hate this move. I can never pop up. The prison cell push ups are also quite challenging. I find I struggle with these- they wear you out quickly.

I did great on the over under push ups- most reps ever. Oh, and the other hardes move of the workout has to be the first bonus move- the plank to chattarunga iso. Holding plank is no biggie. But going down slowly to the chattarunga and holding it is killer!

See you tomorrow for Yoga X!

Day 53- Kenpo X

Today was the Kenpo X workout for me. I took a healthy two scoops of the NanoVapor prior to the workout and I was flying!

I thought I did pretty well today. I have seen big improvement in both the integrity of the forms as well as the height of some of my kicks. And remembering to breathe really allows me to get more into each move- resulting in more calories burned. I flew through this workout and enjoyed myself.

On to other exciting news. I broke through past the 200 lb barrier today. When I weighed myself today, I weighed 199.5 lbs! That is the first time in about 4 years where I could step on a scale and I wasn't 200+. That means that since I've been on P90x, I've shed 13.5 pounds so far. I'm pretty excited.

Day 52- X Stretch

I had a crazy hectic day, so I swithced the order of my workouts around. I ended up doing X Stretch instead of Kenpo. I will be doing Kenpo on Wednesday.

I really just ran out of time and by the time I had a free moment, it was too close to my soccer game. I wanted to have fresh legs, so I just swapped the workouts.

X Stretch is easy and boring. This is my second-least favorite workout (Yoga is worse due to legth and overall boredom).

Back Wednesday with my Kenpo update.

Day 51- Core Synergistics

Today was Core Synergistics. Man, I forgot what a tough workout this is! It kicks your butt. The toughest move in my opinion, is the plank run to chattarunga run. Man does it kick my butt!

Also I really felt the burn on the complex move where you lunge, kickback, curl, press, reverse curl, repeat. I had 10lb weights and by rep 15, sweat was pouring down my face! It seems like such an easy move, but when you add just a little weight, your shoulders start burning, your abs start burning, and you sweat like a pig. Gosh it's fun!

The superman to banana is still tough but fun. I often have to push myself back over to the superman from banana pose. The boat to banana is killer too.

Overall, this is a wonderful workout that hits you head to toe.

See you tomorrow for Kenpo X followed by a soccer game for me!

Day 50- Yoga X

Today was another round of the Yoga workout. I made it through- even though it is still too long and too boring.

I actually did pretty well on it. I really pushed myself on the Warrior stuff and worked up a pretty nice sweat.

The balance poses went ok. Had some trouble with Royal Dancer tonight. This is strange because I usually do well with it. But I got a crance for 5 seconds and did great on the plow to trough moves with the splits, etc.

I can tell my flexibility is improving. I can almost touch my toes now on the hamstring stretches (I use a strap to help stretch). When I started, even with the straps I could barely get my ankles. Now I can touch my big toe for seconds at a clip.

The Yoga Belly stuff rocked as usual. It was tougher then usual tonight- maybe because of my soccer game earlier. But regardless, I really struggled. But I did my best and forgot the rest.

See you tomorrow for Core Synergistics!

Day 49- Rest Day

Today is a scheduled rest day on the program. I plan to relax and do work around the house.

Tomorrow starts the second recovery week. Even though it's a recovery week, it isn't easy. Besides the two rounds of Yoga (gag), are two rounds of Core Synergistics- which is a really great but hard workout. And there's Kenpo in there once, plus the X Stretch. I'm thinking about adding the Cardio X to the X Stretch day. I'll see how I feel on the day.

Day 48- Kenpo X

Today was my favorite day- Kenpo day. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of eating a big lunch too close to when I was doing Kenpo X. I felt very funny in the stomach the whole workout. I still did my best, but I wouldn't say I kicked butt today. Oh well. I still burned some calories.

My favorite move in Kenpo is the jab/cross/hook/uppercut combo. I really get into it. I feel like I need a heavy bag to hit, because I almost feel like a boxer during it! Anyway, I really tourque my hips and drive through each punch in the combo. It really burns.

Diet is going well. I had a shake for breakfast. A protein bar for sanck. Lunch was a huge roasted chicken breast. Snack is my recovery drink. Dinner I'm not sure about yet, but it'll be healthy.

I'm down another pound today to 201 lbs! I hope to crack through back into the 190's sometime soon. That's 12 pounds lost now in 48 days. Not bad. And it's weight that has been lost the right way. By eating healthy and working out.

Tomorrow is a rest day. So I'll see you on Sunday for the start of the second recovery week!

Day 47- Back & Legs

Today was another day of legs and back. I like this workout, yet hate it. It's a killer. I dread it a bit everytime because I know those wall squats are coming.

Seriously, the one-legged wall squats are just so killer. My legs are shaking after the first two and sweat just starts pouring out of me. It hurts so much. But once that's done, you feel great- especially knowing you won't have to do them again for another week.

This workout also has lots of pull ups/chin ups. It seems this is Tony's preferred way to work the back. In fact, you repeat a few of the moves in the workout on the bar. It gets a little boring to be honest. But the leg stuff is so tough, that makes up for it.

I've always had pretty big and nice calves. But I can tell a difference in my legs since I've been doing this workout and the plyometrics. My legs are even tighter and more defined. They haven't looked like this since college!

Ab Ripper X came again today. And I rocked out all the reps on all the moves. Again, I felt like puking at the end. So I know I pushed hard. As I've said a million times to Jeff, they key to Ab Ripper X (and most of the tough moves in P90X) is controlling your breathing. Remembering to breathe and controlling the breath make such a big difference. For those of you who struggle with Ab Ripper X, try really focusing on your breath. You'll be amazed at the difference.

Diet went well. Shake for breakfast. Protein bar for snack. Lunch was a steak taco with fat-free cheese on a low carb wrap. Snack was a recovry drink. Dinner was a nice broiled chicken breast.

See you tommorrow for my favorite- KENPO!!!!

Day 46- Cardio X

Today was Day 46. All of you doing the program know this should have been a Yoga X day. However, in the program guide, Tony mentions you can substitute the Cardio X for the Yoga if you so desire. Well, today I desired! So to change things up and try something new, I gave the Cardio X workout a shot.

How was it? In one word- AWESOME!

I had so much fun. It is a great workout that I plan to continue to do even after I finish these 90 days. It combines some of the Yoga moves, some Kenpo, some Plyos, and some of the Core Synergistics moves all in one non-stop package.

I worked my ass off! It was fun. I may sub this in for Yoga once in a while just to keep things different.

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Day 45- Back & Biceps

I had the opportunity to work out over lunch today, so I decided to stay with the normal routine this week. Therefore, I will do Yoga tomorrow, and got to burn out my back and biceps today.

This is an intense workout that really keeps you moving. And it's really on the quicker side of the videos time-wise. I still have fits with all the pull up/chin ups in this one (especially the corn cob pull ups).

I felt like I had a really intense workout today overall. Real nice burn in the biceps. I love the Superman exercise. That's where you lay face down on the floor and then lift your legs and arms up off the ground for 10 seconds. Then you repeat for a total of 5. Tough! But oh so good!

Went through Ab Ripper X today and really tried to push myself. My words about "not pushing hard enough if you don't feel like puking" came back to haunt me. I pushed it so hard I threw up a little in my mouth at the end. I think it was mostly because I ate less then an hour before the workout. But, whatever, I still felt the burn and got through it.

Diet is still on track. I added in a few extra carbs today since I still have a soccer game to play tonight. See you tomorrow for Yoga X.

Day 44- Plyometrics

Today was another day of going tow to toe with "the beast". Plyometrics was on the workout menu today. I took my scoop of Nano Vapor and went to dance with the devil.

I did well today. I felt very "springy" and tried to be as explosive as possible with my movements. I usually struggle with some of the run stance squat switch stuff, but did them well today. Hardest move for me is still the gap jumps- but only because the form is tricky- not the movement itself.

My favorite part of this workout is the bonus sports section at the end. I love the pitching stuff and the jump shot stuff. Those are real-world movments that I'm used to doing. So none of the "feel" like a workout- even though you are breathing really heavy if you push yourself.

Overall this is a tough but fun workout and I continue to enjoy it.

FYI, I'm down to 202 lbs now. That's an 11 pound loss. I'm loving this.....

Day 43- Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps

Today is the Chest, Shoulders and Triceps workout. As always, it was intense. I love this workout. It kicks my ass and leaves me asking it to do it again.

There are so many push ups in this workout, that you get half way and start to think, "there's no way I can do another push up". But you find a way. The one-handed push ups are still really tough for me. But I did great on the clap/plyo push ups (where you push up and clap in between). I also managed to either invcrease weight or reps (or both) on most all the exercises, and matched my previous best on the ones that didn't go up. The balance push ups are still hard too. These are where you do a push up, then lean on one arm and stack your ankles, while putting your free hand in the air and balancing on your side. TOUGH- especially because it comes near the end.

I also did a bang up job on Ab Ripper today. Again doing all reps of all exercises and pushing a few with more challenging positions. I can always gauge how well I did in Ab Ripper X by how close I am to vomiting afterwards. If I don't feel like vomiting is a real possibility, I didn't work had enough. Once again today, I was ready to spew- so I knew I had brought it!

I was really dragging ass today prior to the workout. I had an outdoor soccer game at noon (we won 5-0). So, I was wiped out from that. Sundays are tough because I play soccer and then come home to workout. But a little Nano Vapor got me ready to go and I was feeling good when it was time to bring it. For those of you out there looking for a little boost for your energy level for the workouts, I highly recommend it. You can find it at your local GNC!

Day 42- Rest Day

Today is a scheduled rest day. So I will not be doing anything.

Over the next three weeks, I have soccer on Tuesday nights. As such, I will be adjusting the workout order slightly. I will now move my Yoga workout to Tuesdays since it is low impact. And I will move the Tuesday workout (currently back and biceps) to Wednesdays.

Friday, October 17, 2008

Day 41- Kenpo X

KENPO X DAY!!!! I love Fridays because I know I get to do Kenpo X. It is the only workout in the program that doesn't feel like a workout ever!

I love the combination moves. Especially the stuff where you combine kicks and punches. And the Star Blocks are fun. They were hard at first because it take time to learn the combination. But now they are one of my favorite things.

Diet is on track. Protein Shake for breakfast. Snack was a banana. Lunch was a turkey sandwich on multi-grain wheat. Snack was turkey Jerkey and recovery drink. Dinner is some baked chicken breasts.

So far to date, I'm down to 202.5 lbs. That is a loss of 10.5 pounds in 41 days. Not too bad! And I've started getting a lot of comments from people noticing that I've lost some weight. It's a good feeling. And it keeps me fired up to take this program to another level!

Also, let me apoligize for slacking on the posts for a few days. My work and family life have been hectic this week, leaving little time to update the blog.

Also, a special shout out to those of you who have actually found this blog and are following my progress- people like Matt and Tai Chi Monkey Girl. Your words and comments keep me going. It's nice to know others are out there. I had only told Jeff about the blog, because I was so embarrassed by my fatness, I didn't want to share with my friends and family until I'm a bit slimmer. I plan to let them all know about it when I put up my Day 60 pics.

Day 40- Legs and Back

Day 40 was legs and back. This is a killer workout for your legs. I still get that nervous feeling everytime I do this workout because thosse wall squats and one-legged wall squats hurt like heck. But in a good way. I'm always a puddle of sweat after this workout and usually feel the soreness for days after.

I did well in the workout. I really like the Nano Vapor supplement. It has really given me a boost during my workouts, yet doesn't taste like crap (like Superpump) or rip up my stomach (like Superpump). For this workout I had to get up early in the morning to do it because I had a work dinner that night and a meeting with my manager- making for a long day and no time to fit in a quick workout. But the Nano Vapor got my engine going this morning so it was great.

Ab ripper was also on the workout today. I made it through ever rep on all exercises, but did have trouble with the Mason Twista- though I pushed through. I think the early morning start contributed to this a bit.

I'm looking forward to a little treat tonight. The dinner is at Ruth's Chris andI'm going to have a nice Petite Filet!

Day 39- Yoga X

Today was another Yoga day. I still don't like this workout and think it's too long. Maybe if they shortened the Warrior stuff, I would like it more. The Warrior poses take SO LONG!

I did fine though. Held a crane pose in the balance poses for like 5 seconds and fell on my face again. Good times.

Diet went well. No major slip ups! Still taking in a nice balance of carbs and protein with as little fat as possible and keeping it between 2,700-3,000 calories.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Day 38- Back & Biceps

Today was the great back and biceps workout. Curls, curls, curls, and pull ups, pull ups, pull ups.

It is an intense workout and your biceps feel like they are going to explode when you are done. I did well today. Two scoops of Nano Vapor pre-workout had my engines revved. And a proper night of sleep. I brought it hard today, upping my reps on most all workouts.

The corn cob pull ups (pull up, slide right, slide left, slide middle, in-out, down) are still brutal. And the towel pull ups are a bitch too. But man they work you well.

Ab ripper went very well. I felt great during it and tried a few advanced options. I made it through just fine. I feel like Tony- Ab Ripper X: I hate it, but I love it. I actually look forward to it after the workout. In the beginning I dreaded it. Oh the times, they are a changing.

Diet went well. Protein shkae for breakfast. Protein bar for snack. Whole grain bread with sliced turkey for lunch. Recovery drink for snack. Roasted chicken for dinner.

See you tomorrow for the dreaded Yoga.

Day 37- Plyometrics

Day 37 is Plyometrics day. This day is an all or nothing workout. You better be ready to bring it because this workout will kill you if you don't go "all in". You gotta push yourself and really break through the pain barrier. It burns- but the results are worth it.

I was still dragging from the lack of sleep over the weekend. I wasn't able to sleep in because I had a really early appointment for work a good 90 minutes from my house. So when I got home to start working out, I used the Nano Pump to get me ready. I should really call this Nano Crack because I swear to God it hit me like a freight train. I was bouncing off the walls.

I had a really great workout. I even turned my chair around on the leg over exercises to make myself have to swing higher. I double timed the high knee jump thngs both times through. And I really did well on the sideways squat jumps. Overall my best Plyo workout by far.

Day 36- Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps

Today kicks off Week 6. I had a lot of trouble with the workout today. Most of the trouble (ok all of it) was due to the effects on my body of the bachelor party I attended this weekend. I was in Atlantic City for my cousin Kane's bachelor party. I spent the whole weekend drinking sugar-free Red Bull with Vodka and gambling. Friday and Saturday combined I maybe had 7 hours of sleep.

When I got home today after dropping Jeff off at the airport, I crashed for a few hours of sleep. It helped me get enough energy to workout, but not enough to help me "bring it" like I wanted to. That being said, I did ok. I increased weight on every exercise while matching or increasing reps on everything (except the one-armed push ups). For some reason I struggled with the one-armed push ups today, but still almost matched my previous mark.

I also managed to continue my performance on Ab Ripper X. But it really hurt today. I was spent when I was done!

I'm back on the diet plan. Shake for breakfast. Turkey jerkey for lunch. Grilled Chicken on whole wheat bread for lunch. Banana for snack. Dinner was some grilled turkey.

We tried to do well on the diet in Atlantic City. And for the most part we did. There was some minor cheating, but given the circumstances, I think we did pretty well.

Day 35- Rest Day

This was a scheduled rest day. I spent it drinking Sugar-Free Red Bull and Vodka and gambling in Atlantic City.

Friday, October 10, 2008

Day 34- Kenpo X

Hello all! I had a new experience on P90X today. Jeff (from Danglethe carrot) is here visiting. So, we got up and did the Kenpo workout together today. It was fun having someone else there pushing me, etc. And I didn't feel like such a dork with the yells, etc. on some of the moves.

Having someone else here was good because it really helped me push myself hard. I didn't want to dog it in front of someone else!

We are leaving in a few hours for a bachelor party. See you Sunday!

Thursday, October 9, 2008

Day 33- Legs & Back

Today was the legs and back workout. I got up early to do this one before work, since Jeff will be coming to town today. I also tried a new pre-workout supplement called NaNO Vapor. It works sort of like Superpump (though hopefully I won't react as badly to it).

I felt the NaNO Vapor right away. I was pretty amped and felt tingling in my muscles as I worked- good times!

The workout today was good. I upped all my max reps on the different pull ups. As for some of the lunges and such, I added in some dumbbells to increase the difficulty. IT especially worked on the calf raises. I have some big strong calves, so usually I wasn't getting too deep of a burn on the calf raises. This time, just by adding 2 12lb dumbbells, I was able to get a really deep burn in my calves. It was wonderful.

Ab ripper x was on the agenda today as well. Once again, I made it my bitch. I got through all exercises with all reps and still managed to rock the Fifer Scissors and the Mason Twists. Next week, I'm going to try doing some of the variations. I wanted to make sure I could repeat my success before moving on- and today proved that I could.

Jeff and I will be doing Kenpo together tomorrow and then off the Atlantic City for a Bachelor Party. Saturday is our rest day and Sunday we'll both be back in our respective homes to start week 6.

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Day 32- Yoga X

Today was the dreaded Yoga day. It's not that it's hard (well, it is really hard), it's that it's too long and very boring. That being said, I'm seeing improvements.

One pose I love is Frog. I really feel a great stretch.

I did great on the warrior stuff today. I even did push ups on almost every Vinyassa. I felt stronger during that part.

The Yoga Belly 7 is still the ass-kicker in this workout. It may seriously be as tough as Ab Ripper X if not tougher. I did my best (and forgot the rest), but it was a struggle as always.

Diet is still on track. I had a protein shake for breakfast. A protein bar for snack. Lunch was some sliced turkey on a low carb wheat tortilla. Snack was some turkey jerkey. Tinner was some ground turkey tacos on the low carb wheat tortillas.

Jeff (Danglethe carrot) will be heading here tomorrow from his home in Houston. We will both workout on our own tomorrow, but on Friday we plan on doing the Kenpo together before heading to a bachelor party this weekend. Should be fun to do Kenpo with someone else!

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

Day 31- Back & Biceps

Today was a new workout. It was a back and bicpes workout that was really fun. There were tons of variations of different curls. And of course, lots and lots of pull ups.

Of particular note because of the degree of difficulty was the Corn Cob Pul Ups. You basically pull up, then slide right, slide back to center, slide left, slide back to center, then pull in and then back out, and then down. That's one! Really raised the intensity of the workout. There were also towel pull ups. You took a towel and wrapped in around one of the grips. Then you grabbed the part hanging down with one arm and used the normal grip on the other side. It really isolated the side holding the bar- very intense.

Following the workout was the infamous Ab Ripper X. And I'd liek to announce that for the first time, AB RIPPER X BECAME MY BITCH!!!!

That's right. I did everything! I made it through all 25 Fifer Scissors and made it through all 40 Mason Twists at the end with my feet up. It felt awesome. It really was a sense of accomplishement. Especially, considering how 31 days ago I sat there thinking there was no way in hell I'd ever be able to do all the reps on Ab Ripper X. I've come a long way, and I'm just getting started.

I actually find myself looking forward to the Ab Ripper stuff at the end. Even though I know it's going to hurt, I feel the strength gaining daily in my abs and I see my love handles melting away. And each workout I've made progress on it. I think next time, I'm going to try to increase the difficulty on some of the moves to keep pusing myself.

Diet went well. I had two whole wheat english muffins with peanut butter and banana slices for breakfast. Protein bar for snack. Lunch was a chef salad. Snack was recovery drink. Dinner was some grilled chicken.

Day 30 Photos

Comparison Photos for Days 1 vs. Day 30. I see some progress- though I'd like to see more! But I think it's working..... On a side note, my weight when I started this 30 days ago was 213 lbs. I now way 205.5 lbs.

Day 30- Plyometrics

Today is Day 30- the Beast is BACK!

The plyo workout is by far the hardest workout of this program. For the first three weeks, I felt like I did well on this. This week- I think the rest week impacted me. I was actually very winded during this workout. It hit me hard for some reason. I really struggled with certain exercises for the first time.

Of particular difficulty this week were the switch foot 180 pickups. They just kicked my ass. I was gassed after them. I'm sure I will have a nice soreness in my legs and ass tomorrow!

Diet went well today. Breakfast was a protein shake. Morning snack was turkey jerkey. Lunch was a 6" turkey sub on whole wheat from subway (with spicy mustard and lettuce, salt, and pepper). Afternoon snack was recovery drink. And dinner was two grilled turkey burgers and a small garden salad.

I will be taking my 30 day pics tonight and hope to get them posted some time tomorrow. My wife (Danni) isn't home until pretty late, so I may not have time to download them until the morning.

Sunday, October 5, 2008

Day 29- Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps

Today marks the beginning of week 5. This was also the newest "weight-lifting" type of workout. This was chest, shoulders, and triceps. Man, this workout was intense. I loved it. By the end my triceps felt like the were going to pop off of my arms!

There are a TON of pushup variations in this workout. You get to do one-armed as well as the clap push ups. Not easy. There were a ton- so many to describe that they all sort of run together.

Very challenging isolated tricep work as well. The shoulder stuff wasn't too extreme. Which is good considering how tough the chest and tris were getting worked.

I was a bit nervous at the end of the workout for Ab Ripper. In the rest week you don't do any Ab Ripper, so I was afraid it would make me it's bitch again. No need to fear- I rocked it. I completed all but 5 Fifer Scissors (but my legs were the straightest they've ever been). And I was able to do 30 of the 40 Mason Twists with my feet off the ground (me best was 20). I totally attribute this improvememnt to the Yoga and Core Synergistics workouts. I am sure when I finish P90X I will continue to do the Core Synergistics workout regularly.

Diest went well today. Protein Shake for breakfast. Lunch was a low carb wheat tortila with three slices of low fat turkey breast, some lite mayo, and some dijon mustard, and some fat free mozzerella cheese. Snack was my recovery drink. Dinner was three grilled turkey burgers topped with dijon mustard. Dessert (make up for missed mid-morning snack) was a bowl of fresh berries.

Saturday, October 4, 2008

Day 28- Rest Day

Today is a scheduled rest day. I plan on hanging out with the kids and taking it easy after yesterday.

Day 27- Double Dip

On Friday, I was so upset about having stopped my workout, that I decided to "double up" on to make up for it. So I decided to re-do the Core Synergistics workout plus add in the regularly scheduled Yoga workout. Biy, that was a dumb move.

It wiped me out! Literally kicked my ass.

I did the Yoga in the morning. Things went fine. I did ok on Warrior stuff. The balances poses went better then normal (except for the damn Crane move). And YogaBelly X was ok.

Then in the evening I did Core Synergistics. I was pumped. I had dumbbells and everything. I guess I never realized how much the Yoga works your core until I had to push it again the same day.

I was so wiped out by the workout I ended up goingto bed an hour after at like 9pm. The wife was not happy asI barely even hung out. But I was wiped!

Day 26- Core Synergistics

Today was supposed to be core synergistics. However, I never made it through the entire workout.

When I was first starting P90X, Jeff (danglethe carrot), told me about SuperPump. This is a pre-workout supplement to get you fired up and have energy throughout the workout. I used it at first. At first I was only using a little and I didn't notice anything good. Last week I used 3 scoops and had the best workout of the program. However, it kept me up all night. So I stopped taking it.

Today, I took 3 scoops again trying to really get fired up for my workout. I was full of energy when I started. But partway through the workout I got a searing pain that started at the base of my neck and rushed up my skull from back to front. It was kind of like a reverse brain-freeze. I immediately thought I was having an anyuerism. I was scared, so I stopped the workout.

Honestly, in retrospect, I'm sure it was a reaction to the superpump. But I didn't want to push it. So, I am going to try and double up my workout tomorrow, or possible do core synergistics tomorrow and treat today like my rest day. Also, I've decided to stop the superpump entirely. It just isn't worth the risk to me.

Day 25- Kenpo X

I'm a little late getting this post up, but yesterday was Kenpo X day for me. I won't go on and on again about how much I love this workout (because I do). But I will say, that I look forward to this more then any of the workouts and that the time always goes by too fast.

I really pushed it in Kenpo today. I have noticed my form getting much better with all the moves- especially some of the kicks. This ha enabled me to really add height to the kicks. I was very pumped during this routine today and was even screaming at Tony and telling him I was going to kick his ass. I was a little over the top- but it was fun.

I was so exhausted after the workout I ended up going to bed around 9 (which is early for me). I think I just pushed it so hard that my body shut down- good times!

Diet was fine yesterday. Whole Wheat Englis Muffin with peanut butter for breakfast. Snack was a banana. Lunch was low-fat turkey and low fat cheddar cheese on a slice of whole wheat bread. Afternoon snack was some turkey jerkey. Dinner was two ground turkey tacos on low carb wheat tortilla shells.
